From a failed drip irrigation system installed by the landscaper, I figured out that hose length when using a sump pump and 32-inch-high containers is extremely important. Hoses that are too long means the effectiveness of the actual irrigation is compromised.

The manifold rocks! I have it placed on top of the rain barrel that has my sump pump (I have 2 rain barrels that are attached via PVC pipe at the bottom of the barrels). So, the hose from the sump pump is attached on the lower left. The two hoses on the right side go to the grid systems. Upper left shows another hose that I use for some pots that are scattered around the area.

Easy to set up! Figured out I needed to lower the dirt so the grid system would fit nicely and not be at risk of the wind (which is plentiful here) blowing them away. Cutting the riser tube to the correct height was easy. Attaching was more difficult only because I don't have a lot of hand strength. But I did get it done.

Offers 3 outputs with one one hose in. Really useful to run multiple garden grids or add a drip line run!
